Antarctic krill oil is a supplement sourced from red krill, which is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, and Astaxanthin. Some evidence suggests that Omega-3 from krill oil is better absorbed by the body compared to traditional fish oil. Some individuals also have allergies to conventional fish-based omega-3 supplements which has spurred interest in alternative sources such as krill oil.
